Dubaphobics I know refuse to listen to this, but I found it interesting and enjoyable to listen to.
The Commentary is actually quite nice; the English director for the show seems to have some insight, which is unusal for directors. If you have the DVDs I'll reccomend you listen to it.

Yeah, I thought that the commentry was quite good. It gives more insight into the series. It is better than the the evangelion commentary.
Hmmm i should probably watch it all. I started, but then the one guy was flirting with the female voice actor for so long that i turned it off.
Do they say anything not hinted at or revealed in the series?
Flirting with the female voice actor? I don't remember that bit.
While nothing is said that is a true revelation, it does provide some nice information. A lot of the time they simply preach about how great this or that scene was or, how well the particular voice actor they choose did. They seem to have a good grasp on the intricacies of the show, and there is nothing I can recall off the top of my head that they said which was outright incorrect (*cough* Eva commentary *cough*).
All up I think it is definitely worth listening to.

The two eps co-commented by Crispin Freeman were the best as he was the one who did most of the scripts, and had just as much insight as the director.

There was at least two things that I can remember that they said wrong:
1.The director said that the vision Manaka showed Jonouchi of the Manticore killing the Type S girl (episode 4) was from the future, when in fact it wasn't. He later repeats this in another episodes.
2.The director also said that Boogiepop Phantom and Manticore Phantom were lovers forced to fight each other, which is wrong since they are both from the Manticore.
There may have been others. It seemed like they hadn't read the novels so they may have made mistakes. Feel free to correct me on any of this.
Apart from that, the commentary was actually very helpful. I do recommend it.
EDIT: There was a third in which the commentary tried to make light of the fact that Boogiepop Phantom whistles "Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg" during the series, and then Boogiepop does it during the last episode, as if to say that Boogiepop Phantom did it first. This is wrong, since Boogiepop has using that tune for some time.
A fourth was when Jeff Thompson said "Boogiepop Phantom" was the urban legend instead of "Boogiepop", although it was obvious that the other guy with him was subtly trying to correct him on that point.
A fifth was that Jeff Thompson is also not entirely convinced that Dr Kisugi was the serial killer at one point.
A sixth was when the director stated that up until episode 12 every time we hear "Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg" it is Boogiepop Phantom whistling it, though he forgets about episode 10 when Boogiepop does, and the fact that Boogiepop had been doing it long before Boogiepop Phantom.
