Awwww Swweeeet... A DNA2 forum... The series is brilliant ^_^

Funny as hell and nice fan service but not too much that it's annoying, also one of the few animes to include a rather dodgy problem with one of the girls when she gets nervous :D

Anyone who reads this trhread and has absolutely no idea what DNA2 is well what you doing here!?

Just kidding... No really it is fantastic, one of those animes where there are numerous girls all going for one guy... Can't remember what their called though :P

Right anyway that's my introductory thread, i really don't need to explain plot as most ppl who'll read this knows what it's about anyway.

Now on to more posts that can breed discussion rather than this pile of rubbish i just wrote :D

I can't wait for this to come out this spring. It definitely falls into my "must replace old fansubs" category.

Considering nobody ever licensed this in the years since it came out, and it just seemed to be an underground hit with newsgroup-types, I'm surprised it finally makes an official release over here..

one of those animes where there are numerous girls all going for one guy... Can't remember what their called though

Tomoko Saeki- sexy little number (voiced by Megumi Hayashibara) that first uses him as revenge on her faithless boyfriend, but gets snared by his Mega-Play.

Kurimoto Ami- Junta's childhood friend who seems to enjoy teasing and roughhousing him, but really.... (archetypal character)

Takanashi Kotomi- cute younger gymnast with that... problem.

Karin- well-meaning but somewhat inept Time Cop who thinks about little but the "charming husband and sweet home" she'll get when she's rich.

"All hail Momonari Junta, the puking Super-Saiy.... Mega-Playboy!" :)

I definitely can't wait for this title to be released. I have it a preorder, yay!. Btw, does the girl on the cover of vol. 1 remind anyone of Feena from Grandia?

That'd be 'harem' or 'brothel' anime.

OK, those are more derrogatory terms, but I think they're in common usage. I've seen it called 'shonen anime' somewhere, but that seems way too broad a term, since so many other anime fall into this category as well.

EDIT- I don't know if I'd put DNA^2 in with these, though. IMO, most of the anime belonging to the genre have everybody under one roof. After all, how many harem girls have their own place? IIRC, in DNA^2 there's no cohabitation , except for Karin briefly staying at Junta's place.

It's a sweet series. The animation has the same flavor as Video Girl Ai. I hope the I''s anime can contine this tradition.

Sorta relates to GM stuff today though... What it you could 'program' someone to like Blue eyes, red hair, short, Tall etc... scary
