This is one of my favorite anime series; lots of action, a backstabbing plot, and the music is friggan great.

Yes, The end theme is done by Mr. Big. A long-past 80s/early 90s hair band. :lol: Funny...I always liked them.

Well duhhh :rolleyes: It is set in England after all.

I'm really enjoying Hellsing. I have the first 2 DVDs and will pick up the third shortly. Dub is pretty good as well.

i only saw the first few random eps, but i love it, mainly because of intergra, there's really no other anime ladies like her

Hell yeah! I even changed my icon now that I found this Hellsing forum! Love the show. I am hoping to fill up my boxset soon. Fill it with blood! Waaaa haaa haaa haaa! Wait.. it's more like Anderson to laugh maniacly. Eh.. oh well... Waaaa haaa haaa haaa haaa!

Yeah, I hired the first 2 DVDs and was quite impressed. Gotta go check if they've got the 3rd one yet.

In my opinion, a very good anime.

EDIT: Ignore that question. The anwser has been found.

Hehe, i've been trying to get me a hellsing avie fo ages hah i had one pic (I thik it was a concept art one of alucard smirking..as usual) but i wiped my comp clean, didn't i? *Grumble*

If its the concept art it should be fairl easy to find if you look soon... If u wait to long all the fansights will pop up and youll never find it...

The 3rd dvd is great, more arucard, more fighting and also the introduction to the other original incognito. A must have.

The dub's incredible! The actors are amazing, and the accents even sound realistic - not cockny crap. Infact, I prefer the dub since it makes the atmosphere feel more like Britain.

.. perhaps it's just me.. but I'm not familiar with the term "badass".. whenever people describe him as a "badass".. it sounds more like he's some guy who hassles shopkeeps... and all that... sorry but I couldn't associate his attitude as a badass.. since all the examples I have seen of those called that are totally different from him.. Alucard to me seems more likely to be described in something maybe close to crazy, a maniac..or funny in a senseless philosphical - laughs-at-his-own-jokes- way.. but I don't see what makes him a badass.. I've never seen any of the DVD releases.. where I'm from only the first CD has been out since last 3 months..

I believe I have to agree with you, Alucards character is more inclined to judge his enemy as "sport". This becomes especially evident in the episode Blood Brothers. He also shows his true manical side during the battle with Luke. This particular sequence of Luke begging for mery actually brought a smile to my face, perhaps I'm just a little crazy myself . :)
