Well the GITS Stand Alone Complex OST has been available for a couple of days now.

Has anyone got it and whats your thoughts on it.

Does Kanno deliver the goods or is this disappointing for her?

I've listened to it a couple of times, but not enough to make and concrete opinions. I'll bring it to work today and listen to it more then let you know.

Does anyone have the lyrics to track 5, "Where does the ocean go?".

As minimalistic as it is, I love it.

It's on one of the latest updates. That was an abstract song.

However, I find that the OST can't be played alone. I like to have it played with other music. Otherwise, it creates a wierd mood.

I listened to it about several times and here just a few of my thoughts: I think the soundtrack has somewhat a somber mood to it. The music seems very mellow and relaxing with the exception of a few tracks: 1,2,and the last one. I found this one to be very deep. Somewhat like elevator music. Overall I thought it was pretty good, but not Yoko's best though.


Side Note: I can't wait untill Wolf Rain OST comes!! I love the music in Wolf's Rain.:)

Mind you, its kinda unusual to have an opening theme being performed in Russian....

I love the songs. Track 5's Engrish is hillarious.

The challenge for me is trying to learn the lyrics to "Inner Universe" without offending my nit-picky friend who is a native Russian speaker.
