Favourite Character

Well quite a simple question.

Who's your favourite character from X and if you want to include why.

I was contemplating making this thread myself, y'know. Not at all surprising, I'm sure.

Anyway, Kasumi Karen is my favorite character, and as for the why:
+ Pink hair - I have an affinity for pink hair.
+ Fire - I also have an affinity for flamecasters.
+ Unrequited love - A common theme among my favorite characters.
+ Great wardrobe - Those shoes, my god, those shoes!
+ No angst - She's tragic, yes, but she never feels sorry for herself.
+ Religious background - I have a dark, bizarre fascination with religion.
+ Study in contrasts - She's a devout Catholic soapgirl. That's cool.
+ Age - A refreshing break from all the focus on X's schoolkids.
+ Basic personality - Flirtatious, friendly, maternal, self-sacrificing, passionate, has the ability to make Aoki into a stuttering, flustered mess...

I'm also very fond of Arashi, Satsuki, and Yuuto, but there are so few people in X that I actually dislike (Subaru) that it'd be difficult to rank favorites after Karen.

It has to be Fuma because:

1. Tall dark and Handsome.
2. Good at sports
3. Kind person up until he joins the Dragons of Earth...then he just becomes badass.
4. He has the Shin ryu....need I sat more?

Hm that's a hard question...

Monou Fuuma (the evil)

Height: He's tall and works it well. I don't really like guys that are very tall but yet I still seem to like him.

Evil: He works it so well. There are sometimes when evil just doesn't suit a character. (Kamui was just a brat when he was evil, or tried to be at least. Pathetic)

Sadist: He's sadistic and that is oh so yummy for him. (this acctually should be included above with 'he is evil')

Yaoi: He would (and does) make such a good yaoi boy. Of course any bishonen makes a good yaoi boy.

Kotori: He killed Kotori. I just luv him for that.

my fave character is oaki, he's not angsty, SUCH a gentlemen, and just overall the sweetest guy in the series, maybe next to sorota

Fuuma is my favorite character, but unlike you guys, i really cant go deep :heh: so i'll just say he's cool, starting from episode 12.

Sorata.

His personality was vibrant. His devotion to his belief (and to Arashi ;) ) was admirable. Plus, he was just too damned funny. :D

Sorta reminds me of myself. Except for the whole shooting lightening, leaping on buildings, and making kekkai part. (He shot lightening, right? It's been so long since I've seen this anime).

I ordered the entire TV series from Japan...and let me say the ending was NOT what I expected at all.:bawling:

Wow. It seems no one likes the magazine editor Seiichiro Aoki. He's calm and collected, even if he is a little scatter-brained. Yes, he gets completely undone when Karen's around. The first meeting between Arashi and Seiichiro is classic. Add to that, he's the only one with a family to take care of. It gives him even more reason to fight to save humanity. Plus I'm so much like Seiichiro. There's so much to Aoki that I could write pages on him. But to save space for others, I'll just say Seiichiro is my favorite.

My favorite character would have to be Arashi Kishuu. I just like her angsty personality and I admire her. I think she's an all-around cool character to me. :)

hmm true Aoki is an interesting character, but his personality is not as forward and scrutinized in the action of the film as people like Sorata and Arashi or Subaru... he's more of a straight arrow, he's confident in his own motivations and they are not really all that difficult to question IMO... that does not require as much delving as someone like Sorata who has chosen to accept his fate regardless of whether it is worth it in the end and regardless of Arashi's feelings originally...

oh btw, my favourite is Sorata, mostly cuz he's a tragic figure but he manages to be humorous and straightforward in the way he acts towards people, he decides on one thing and goes towards it without any hesitation, he's almost like a Samurai retainer for Kamui
