Miharu and Misuzu related??? (Spoiler... Maybe)

Miharu: That's right little sister, cast yourself free from the bands that hold you back.

Now since when were Miharu and Misuzu related? If this is true then wouldn't that mean that Yushiro and Miharu are bother and sister also and that their relationship is soooo wrong. I'm thinking that maybe Misuzu was Miharu's sister back in the past, but I can't remember Miharu having a sister back then, only a big brother. So can anyone explain this to me because I'm confused?

Hmm, this is confusing. The last episode was a real blur for me, I can't remember much of what was said. I'll have to remember this when I get up to the episode again.

Anyhow, I don't think that Yushiro and Miharu could be brother and sister, even if Miharu and Misuzu are related, as the impression I got was that Yushiro was a clone with the "mind/soul" of that other kid transferred into this new body, as the other Yushiro, the real one, the kid, died, most likely during that incident at the stage of stone thos years ago. But again I'm a little confused with the whole Yushiro clone thing, which is one reason why I'm rewatching the series.

I think it was used as a term of affection for Misuzu more than anything.

This could be a case of overzealous translators. The family words are used in Japanese commonly for friends and even strangers; this just could have been a case of burned out translators translating it literaly. That's my guess.

I just watched the sub for the final episode, and I don't recall Miharu calling Misuzu "sister".

Well, this thread is kind of old.... but... dont you think she could be saying 'sister' because they were both Kais?

Or maybe because they are just both females? Like guys calling each other 'brother'? In most spiritual talk most genders talk to each other like they are blood related because they share a bond just as strong.

Anyways ill re-watch the ending again and post on the subject.
