Laughing Man Logo

I know this thread belongs more to the GITS SAC thread, still this question is biting me and need answers NOW!!!

Some days ago I downloaded from Production IG site (I think) a "Laughing Man" screensaver, in wich you can see a bouncing LM logo with its outer rim rotating. When I pressed the "config button" I got this message:

Well, Who's this Paul Nicholson? And what's the TRUE story (the on that has nothing to do with the series) behind the Laughing man logo?

Most likely, he's the guy who made the logo for the series...

The phrase is from the novel Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I know there was another poster here who pointed out all the really cool Catcher in the Rye references in Stand Alone Complex. The narrator/main character says that line. (I forgot his name.) He's the anti-social, self-righteous type who doesn't really fit in and sees the problems with the society.

OMG! You took the words right out of my mouth! er, or from my keyboard....Anyway, that logo would look awesome right next to a Nerv or Nergal badge or pin. :drool: Or a T-shirt.....
