Do you find the fact that the opening changes almost episode well done or annoying? I'm a bit of both. I like it because it tells you a rough review (very rough) of what's happened. But the opening being used 100 different times is really annoying when you’re trying to watch the Credit less Openings in the Special Features on DVD 8. It's that reason alone as to why I don't like the song "Message #9" anymore

Oh, so you sat through the whole thing with all the creditless titles. I paused every now and then and took breaks. Too much of Message # 9 is not a good thing, especially since I like the song and don't want to over-listen to it.
Anyhow, I really liked how the openings changed. With other anime series I quickly got bored of the opening and usually just skip them now. But with Gasaraki the openings were almost like little previews or trailers to some really cool or mysterious parts in the nearby episodes to come. I especially liked it when they used it to start showing glimpses of the kugai, and also when the US started becoming more predominant and they started with the shot of the Whitehouse or Capitol Hill, can't remember which.
I've just started watching the series again and just remembered how much I liked the opening. Quite refreshing.

I'm not to sure if it's got anything to do with me knowing what's going on, or the fact that I watched it over 8 months the first time around, but I really enjoyed it.
And on a personal note, Serekith (and sometimes death), I'm so glad that you guys post in here. Because without you guys, I may as well be typing to a brick wall.

Yeah, I find it's quite interesting on the second time, since you more or less know what's going on, and you can focus on little thigns you didn't pick up before. You lose the mystery thing from the first time you've seen it, but that's with all programs and movies anyway.
Actually it's only been your questions that have kept me posting in the Gasaraki forum, and they've often made me think of things I hadn't even thought of before so it's been quite interesting.
Wait... so it plays each and every creditless opening?
And you sat through the entire thing why?!?!

I like to look at every special feature. Weather it be ads that I have seen 100 times or a cast interview. I watch/read them all. I want to get my money's worth out of every DVD I buy.
I guess... but still... that seems a little excessive. I prefer to watch the special features, then " Get my money's worth" out of the DVD by watching all my episodes at least twice.
Though i havent got the DvD's i did rewatch a few of the opening before i leant my CD's off to DNA_master...
I think it was a good idea the differ them as they went on. Gives a bit more flow to the series...
MEssage # 9 does drag on alittle though doesnt it.... For some reason Winamp seems to love it... List of 500 odd songs and it 'randomly' finds it all to offen...
