Is Project D from the manga the Kengai racing team that was said in Third Stage?

i wondered about the same thing...i heard a rumor that Project D was bunta's WRX...or maybe its a new driving technique Ryoskue(sp.) is thinking about using on Takumi ..

but after watching 3rd stage...Project D is probly what he calls the kengai Racing team..

rember the Red Sun's Project? ..probly same thing ..
