In episode 4 Majic spies on Cleao while she's bathing. Actually, I think that Cleao went pretty light on him. Anyway is the reflection spell the first spell that Majic learns or do you think that the weak fireball is. Well the reflection is certainly the first spell that Majic mastered. Also did Orphen teach it to him, or did he learn it independently? If Orphen did teach it to him, when did he do it? And why did he do it? Orphen always seems to be too busy with his own interests to be bothered with Majic. The reflection spell seems almost useless. Unless you want to reflect something that you want to see that is.

Which light spell was used?

Was it "Light!" or "I release thee, light's unsheathed blade". Before Orphen came along and also after, Majic has been self-taught. His mother was also a sorcerer according to information on one site. Orphen would have began with the basics, even the most useless of spells may come in handy.

Edit: Majic did "Intense light that I do create." That spell would have numorous uses.

Yeah, what uses?
Apart from being able to reflect a surface to be sharper, I really can't think of anything. Yes you could probably distract someone with it but that would be about it. It's a handy spell but useless none the least.

Let's see...it's a light refracting spell, so in battle it would be handy for tricking the opponent, just like tricks using mirrors. It also appears to be an easy spell, so it's be good for the basics to go onto the big light spells, such as the two I mentioned. For day to day it'd serve as a good mirror, and while in the woods you can keep a smaller version in your hand to watch your back for bandits.

It's just a Reflection Spell. As in you need to have a shiny surface to reflect it off. And yes, it may lead to the Mirror spell, or the bright light spell, but in the form that Majic used it, it was a weak, almost useless spell.

I've only seen Majic use it...perhaps in the hands of someone like Orphen it can be more useful and not need a shiny surface. Besides, it's still a necessary step toward bigger light spells.
