Ironic, that for all of my begging and pleading for this forum, I couldn't come up with any decent thread ideas.
So, the question: would you be a Dragon of Heaven, fighting to save humanity and preserve the current state of the planet? Or would you be a Dragon of Earth, fighting to destroy civilization to save our dying planet (or just fighting out of boredom, since that seems to be the motive for at least half of them)?
Now, I guess you could interpret this question two ways: one, your views on ecology and how much value you place on human life, or two, which side suits your personality better ("I like working in groups and I'm very sociable. Therefore, Dragon of Heaven!"). Either way works.
Either side ain't bad, but since my fav X chars (Sora and Arashi) belong to the Dragons of Heaven, I'll go for their side. ^____^

Since my avatar is of the great Seiichiro Aoki, I would have to say the Dragons of Heaven. Either side has it's different views. I would be part of the Dragon's of Heaven due to the fact that they try to save humaity and are the only ones who can create barrier fields. Since the Dragons of Earth seem intent on preserving the earth, and destroying humankind is only a side effect =), they seem decent in theory. But killing people? That's not my definition of saving the world.

I'm gonna have to go with Dragon of Earth, but I would be more of a Yuto type person than say a Fuma. Yuto isn't one to go around and slaughter people needlessly, plus his viewpoints seem plausable in a sense so far (vol. 3).

Although the Dragon of Heaven have better characters, I'd choose Dragon of Earth. Their reasons for purifying the Earth is more justified in my opinion.

Well as Sorata (?) says: I'm glad I'm with the Dragon of Heaven 'cause we have so many pretty people!
But seriously, as cruel and brutal as humanity can be, I don't think killing off everyone is the answer. So no Dragon of Earth for me.

Let's see i've only seen the movie & TV episodes 0-6, i'd choose Dragons of the Heaven. From the way i see it, they seem to work together as a team in order to save humanity. Also, i didn't see the DOE work together (only noticed at the movie version). And besides, their idea of destroying humankind is too cruel.
hey I do like the relationship between Sorata and Arashi but Sakuramori just rocks
making a shield with his cigarette
summon creatures
using the hand as a knife
the blood!!!!
.....Zzzzzzzzzzz....

Dragons of the Heaven would be my choice. Without the villians there would never be the heroes. There is no justification to why I choose this side. Perhapes it is because of my pesstimistic personality. :)

Uh, the villains--so to speak, because CLAMP works almost never have true villains--are the Dragons of Earth.
As for the hotter guys comment...well, Seishirou and Yuuto -are- hard to beat.

Dragons of Heaven or Dragons of Earth? Can't they all just get along! geez:rolleyes:
With the world in the current state that it is, I am all fo the Dragons of Earth. There is too much sin in ths world and humanity needs to be punished and taught a lesson for their crimes on earth. Cleansing the Earth of all the "polluted people" would make the Earth look and feel lovely again, cause right now, the Earth ain't looking pretty. But at the same time, I realize that there are pure and clean people on earth as well. But as the saying goes, one bad apple spoiles a bunch. There's just too many bad apples. It's time for a change. Once all of humanity is eradicated from existence, a new form of humanity can take place. One where there is no war or violence, one where there is freedom and happiness for everyone. Sort of like a Utopia so to speak.

Haha, how stupid of me. I guess I haven't been an X fan for awhile now. :)
"Never have true villains" Hm.... There is rarely one character that is so static in today's literature/media/entertainment industries. So, LOL, the defination for "villians" varies from level to level, no?

So may I ask yourself, are you pure and clean? LOL sorry :P, I find your post very.. Interesting I suppose. Isn't it ironic that the crew members who are cleansing the world of " "polluted people" ", are not so pure themselves?

Best way to summarize CLAMP's "villains":
Good intentions, bad ideas.
