Is Orphen still a Child???

Sometimes a have a feeling that Orphen is still the Krylancelo of 6 years ago. Sometimes he acts like a kid when he should be acting like an Adult. Like the way he likes to show off. Or when his emotions get too much of him. Just look at episode 8 after he saw Azalie in those Crystals. He ran away and cried feeling sorry for himself. Now that is child like. I think he uses his tough exterior to hide his true child like self. While he changed his name to Orphen, the child of Krylancelo is still inside him.

Orphen is an overgrown child (more so in Revenge), an exaggerated form of his younger self. Partly why he grew the way he became because after most of his life spent in security of the tower, and with Azalea, he had to learn to fend for himself, so naturally he had to toughen himself up. He likes to think himself superior, and strong, because being weak wouldn't help him, and it wouldn't help his friend. In Revenge he's actually worse, much more violent, thinks over situations less and is more rash, he has no emmotial baggage, so I put it down to: it's all he knows. He has Cleao to challenge and scare him (especially using Leki ^^), however it doesn't deter Orphen's ego - only means we now have 2 bloated egoes to contend with.

Yeah you would think that there would be enough room in the Anime for Orphen, Cleao and Volcan considering the size of their egos. Each and every one of them thinks that they are better than the other. Heck, Volcan even goes as far as to say he's the greatest.

Volcan goes as far to say he's the King of Volcan's country...-_- He's not only egotistical, but delluted. Orphen on the other hand can back up any of his rants, and Cleao can...poision them with her cooking (seriously, it's like acid, it burns right through clothes) ^^

Yeah why do they do that? In a lot of anime series they make the woman the bad cook, yet the man makes everything perfect. I suppose it's like have girls know everything about Cars, while the guy looks around dumbfounded.

Licorice is a great cook, as is Stephanie (Well...she's a her in spirit...^_-) and I'll assume Azalea was one too since she was so womanly. Cleao's a tomboy and a bad cook to the extreme! I've never seen such bad cooking from an anime character. In one ep she decided to cook Licorice soup since she was sick - so guess what Cleao put in the soup? ^^ Meat of all sorts, vegetables, spices, whole fruit (she threw in an entire watermelon!) - anything she found she threw in! At the end she tried to make Orphen taste it...naturally he made Majic, who ended up delirious in bed. :p

Oh, Boy. I thought that Yurika and Megumi from Nadesico were bad cooks. But boy does this take the cake.

In the ep of Revenge where she runs away, she'd cooked again, but the soup was more deadily, while Majic and Orphen carried it away to dump, a bit swished onto Majic's shorts, burning a hole through. ^^ I would REALLY like to know what ingredients were used.

Now I'm feeling sorry for Cleao. I know she was brought up in a wealthy environment, but if you can't make soup very well then she must be bad.

Is there anything that Cleao is good at? Besides bossing people around.

Hmm...she's good at shopping, they're continuely broke because of her habit (in towns she tends to have carted around huge piles of bought goods). She's also brave, not only is good at using Leki in battle, she also swings around a sword. Cleao's also manipulative (once she tricked Orphen and Majic into nude modelling for a guy so she'd make some money ;) ), and still retains a good heart.

Boy I really have to see Revenge. Some of this stuff you’re telling me is funny just by reading it. Imagine what it will be like watching it. :D
