*Official* .hack//SIGN on Toonami Thread

So far, I am one of those who has seen the previous and the games that is out on the Playstation2... I'd never play it, but that's a story for another time.

From the promo that Toonami is running, it seems like a idea that has been used before, yet a better twist to it. What happens when the real world and virtual reality combine and some kid gets stuck in the middle. I'd like to see where this one goes...

So far, I enjoyed the toonami version. As far as I could tell, nothing was cut out. Even showed that Crimson Knight getting stabed by that jello dumbbell.

Although the ending credits are sped up, but they do that with most of them...

BK, do you ever get tired of these "Official" threads when there is obviously nothing official about it?

Anyways, I like what I've seen of .hack//Sign so far. Though the only problem I find a tad bit annoying is Mimiru's VA, that is Amanda Wen Lee correct? Either that or someone who sounds alot like her, because Mimiru sounds exactly like Blueseed's Momiji famed for her annoying voice.

It moves a bit slow but I'm liking it. The music matches with the mood perfectly.

This is why the OST is so good. If you watch the series and then listen to the OST you can just remember what part of the series it was. Anyways, CN did a pretty good job with .hack, but the only thing I see wrong is the voices for like Mimiru and Tsukasa. If you have seen the original japanese version then you would agree with me. The CN version sounds too childish. They seem like they are about 11 or 12 when I'm guessing they are older than that, around 15 or 16. It's funny though, everytime I watch the CN version now I always think of that.

Voice Actors can do alot of voices...

Amanda does Rei and Yui in the Eva Dvd's...

Never heard many people complain about them much...

I actually prefer Rei in English over Japanese...

Well, I'm not saying that I can't stand the voices. I am just saying that they could be better.
