This bites..

I was looking at the first DVD (preorder right now) over at AnimeNation, and see that the playing time is 75 minutes.

I know I'm spoiled by some DVDs, but I can't believe they're only offering 3 effing episodes on this thing, since there are only 15 episodes in the series. If it were 3 DVDs at 5eps/DVD, I'd buy it without question, even if they were a bit pricier. Now I've got to stick it in the pile of "I bet I'll buy this, but only after these titles over here are in my collection, or if I can find a bargain on eBay."

Hmmmm. That adds alot of clutter to the collection....

Since there is a flood of anime titles recently I think the media companies will be forced to provide better value...

It is a shame that they're releasing it 3 per disc... I've got a hong kong release from when we all thought no one was going to pick it up for R1 release... all that hubbub about nothing better than LD masters...

I thought I read on 'Ask John' that they didn't even have those masters... Still, LD is much better than if there was only a VHS master sitting around somewhere..

I just ended DNA2 and the ending was good anuf and that sucks!!

Yeh, it sucks. Could be worse. I saw the other day that the Naruto DVDs are only 3-4 eps per DVD. Considering that there are currently 225 episodes, and each dvd will cost about $25 each:

(225/4)*$25=$ASSLOADS_OF_MONEY

Anyone actually attempting to own Naruto DVDs in this way should come see me about a bridge I'm selling. But I digress.

Ah, DNA^2, they don't make em like that anymore.
