Filmmakers have completed the script for the Cowboy Bebop Movie and have started animation production, Sunrise Studios spokesman Kenji Uchida said. No theatrical release date has been set for the anime movie. The Movie reportedly takes place between episodes 22 and 23 of the TV series, with the characters Vincent and Electra featuring prominently. Filmmakers have disclosed few details about the movie, but rumors say that filmmakers conducted a research tour in Morocco, suggesting that part of the story takes place in that country or a similar location.


I got this article from a website and I just wanted to know: Who the hell are Vincent and Electra? Did they change the names of any of the characters in the Dubbed version? Are they minor characters that appear in one of the episode? If so, I don't remember them.

I dunno. I've only seen episodes 1-21. I don't think any of the names have been changed, but like I said, I still haven't seen the last few episodes.

I've seen all 26 episodes subtitled and I'm positive these characters aren't in the last 5 episodes. Perhaps the manga has different names but I'm pretty sure that this isn't true. I think this article is just screwed up.

As for manga... the manga is based on the Anime (instead of the usual anime based on the manga). And yeah morbius... i'll back you up on the fact that they aren't in the last 5 eps of the TV series.

You've misread the article. These two characters feature in the movie, not the episodes. Don't you understand grammatically correct English?

An interview with some of the creators on Newtype.com revealed that Elektra is a martial arts master. Let's hear to Spike getting his tush kicked by a girl! Heheh, he's just so into himself sometimes that I think he needs his comeuppance.....oh, wait....

Someone posted pictures of the character designs somewhere in this forum a few months ago, you should be able to find them...

Okay... This is an old thread that was created before any information about the movie was out... So you can't blame me for not knowing... Every Cowboy Bebop fan should know who Vincent and Electra is now... But thanks anyway...
