Most Cowboy Bebop fans will tell you/rave about the music. Being Yoko Kanno, of course it is worth listening to, and yes, it enhances the show. After all, she wrote the great music for Escaflowne and Macross Plus. Yet, what moves the music is the sort of music it is, Jazz and Blues. Awesome slide guitar cords, incredible base sounds, scat, hot percussion, and brass jams; the very best Black music could offer. The series' music is a mirror of itself: it is full of details. A new and fresh song accompanies various climax scenes, sung in English, but full of melody. I didn't find a single one I didn't enjoy. The instrumental orchestrations are awesome as well, and very varied and diverse. Even the ending song, "The Real Folks Blues," is very nice, except for the chorus, which caught me by surprise due to its shift in melody. The biggest proof is the fact that I bought one of the soundtracks O.S.T II No Disk as soon as I could. i'll get the rest really soon.
