Well today I was talking to my friend about if we had our own racing team what we'd call it.

We came up with the name TangGar, Tang being my surname and Gar being my friends nickname. I found it really lame =P

SO heres my question to you what would you call your own team?

if i had my own racing team what would i call it...i duno ..i have alot of names ..here's a few

1) DUI ( driving under the influence...not drugs..but anime music ..lol )
2) Dragons oF Heaven ( it was a cool Orginazation in X/1999 so why not make a racing team name of it )
3) SlIdErS ( you know..that old tv show ..sliders..nevermind )
4) Shinobi ( eh..)
5) CARd (Chibi Anime Racecar Drivers ...and on your drivers side door your have a chibi picture of your favorite anime character ^.^)
6) eX-D ( i cant reist..lol..and put those letters on the drivers side door ..lol XD )

Is it a name for a racing team on the streets or for the tracks?

If it's street racing team, I would call it:

Mavericks/Sidewinders
Okay, I've to admit that got this from NBA but it sounds pretty cool to be used as a racing team name and it sounds fast too.

Wizards
Ditto, got this from NBA as well. Sounds pretty cool, "the Wizards/ the magician of the streets", don't you think?

Knights
Somehow it sounds kinda mysterious which I like.

Arrows
A nice name for a team, fast and light.

Phantoms
Sounds initimidating.

Darkside. Absolutely love this name for a car team. Too bad that they had a car club called that near me but they broke up. So I cant use that name without looking like a copier

I'm one of the founding members of my team. It's called Smoking Illusions. We hang out just about every night. There's about 20 of us. We started the club last fall before it started getting cold. Whenever it's dry/warm enough outside, we go out to a marked 1/4 mile strip of road near one of the member's houses out in the boonies (so we don't have to worry about cops much) and drag race. Currently, I'm 3 and 2 for wins/losses (one was a fluke cause the other guy jumped the gun). We have our own logo and most of us have it in white vinyl on our back windows.

oooh thats so cool nokari!!:o i've never seen these kinda things real life! isn't it illegal tho? except in japan wheres theres like- roads expecially for raceing? or is it illegal there too? >_________< i wonder if theres these kind of things where i live.. how fun!! but the cars in my town are so crappy :(

About a 2 minute drive from my house up where the shops and shopping centres are its full of Asians so that means alot of nicely done up Japanese cars, Silvias (there have been alot of them lately) Evos, Integra Type R, Skylines and such. Ive even seen a Levin 86 only one Ive seen around, sigh I wanna see that again

goes bugeyed. You can see Silvias, Evos, ITRs and Skylines and your interested in a Levin. Its not fair. I used to see a Levin everyday to work. But in the states those other cars are not to be seen on the east coast. Soon Evos will but with the Lan Evo series coming to an end soon we wont have them for much longer.

anyway..i see so many hachi Rukus it isnt even funny..not all of them are hatchbacks though...ive seen maybe 2 or 3 hatch back carollas..i think they are being handed down cause you dont see alot of them for sale..

we have wrx no Sti. yet. btw do you know that we are getting the most powerful stock sti yet. not that its better than other models but with 300hp 300lb/ft and a 2.5l engine its hard to beat.

There are like hardly any 86s where I live so seeing one is well pretty nice

Yeah, it's illegal. That's why we do it out in the middle of nowhere. I race with my delSol. My other friends drive a Saturn, a Ram 1500, an old Firebird, a V6 Ford Thunderbird (who I beat :D), a '92 Laser, and my friend with the Thunderbird just got a Mark 7 Lincoln. My friend with the Saturn is actually gonna be able to beat me pretty soon, he just ordered a bunch of stuff for his car. It turns out a lot of people have been wanting to join, so we'll see how things go this summer. :up:

About a week ago, I checked into getting plaques made up for everyone.

Street racing is very illegal in Japan. As long as its done at night, not in any town or city, or in parking lots and is carefully orchestrated the cops dont mind. They do eventually break it up though

and yes i did hear about the new sti but..id rather have the new legacy turbo...about as good as the sti....ive wanted to see one in the states for soo long ..and now its gona be coming here in like 2-3 yrs ...im so happy...

but will i trade in my camaro.....no way ..^.-
