Just finished .hack//sign

and I have questions:
1)Where do I continue the series? hack//liminality? other?
2)What's Bears r/l job? Is he some kind of cop?
3)What happened to aura when that place was closed by Helba? Was she a real life person or just existed within the game?
4)Will I ever know what happens to Sora later on?

1.) the story continues to the games, .hack//INFECTION which is vol. 1.

2.) Bear is an author/novelist, to make it simple, he's a writer

3.) when Aura awakens, something major will shake up "The World", which i will know more about after i play the game next week

There are animation disks that comes with the game...They go along with the games story in a way.

After The games is .Hack//Dusk. I haven't seen this yet.

Fatal Outlaw knows Bear is a writer because he probably played the import or something.

yup, it goes series to games then back to animation (or manga). it goes from SIGN, to vol. 1 of the game which is called INFECTION. vol. 2 is MUTATION, 3 is OUTBREAK and 4 is QUARANTINE.

i know bear is a writer/novelist becuase they give numerous clues throughout the series. one instance is when BT says "So you're worried about the deadline?" and Bear's philosophical views on things. if youre still in doubt, thats what it says on Newtype ;)

I believe .Hack//Infection is the first game in the series and it comes out next week sometime, I'm guessing Feb 12.

All four games are for the PS2. I'm not sure about the release dates on the other three games.
