Anyone got the Tenchi Ultimate Edition?

If you don't, I will pray for your eventual return to greatness. I posted this in the Anime Movies/DVD forum as well. The quality is perfect, even on my cheapo setup. Hearing the Japanese voices for the first time and seeing the unedited version casts the OVAs in a whole new light for me. Ryoko is soooo much cooler (as if it were possible :D ).

Got it a few weeks ago. If you really want a shock see the Original OVA then see the Cartoon Network Hacked version. Ouch

My copy was on the doorstep this morning :) I've watched all the first disc and browsed the Encyclopaedia, it is a great boxed set.

Three Uncut, English and Japanese language (English Dubb) DVDs. The first two have the original 13 ep Tenchi Muyo! OVA. The thrid is a DVD-ROM that contains the 3rd version of the Tenchi Encyclopedia. It's the only anime DVD box set that's THX Certified. Visual and audio are perfect. It cost me about US$140 w/taxes at an anime store.

Any self-respecting Tenchi fan with a DVD player should own it.

Available at AMAZON.COM for much less. $101.98 US I believe. Got mine weeks ago. Now if they would only finish it.

It is at buy.com for $82.99. Best price I've found, coupled with their shipping. I think it is like $0.50 cheaper somewhere else, but the I think the shipping is more. I don't know for sure. Just know that it is $82.99 at buy.com.

Wow. :eek: I guess I shoulda shopped around...but my credit card was maxed at the time, cash was my only option...that's a great price!
