I'm wanting to download some songs from RahXephon on KaZaa, but I don't know what they're called! The first one plays when Haruka attacks the Mulians in the subway station, and the other one plays in some of the robot fights(it starts off playing VERY low piano keys, then adds in some techno drums) Any suggestions?

There are 3 OSTs in all, and I'd say that it is rather mediocre. I mean, they have some really great stuff, but they also have some really abysmal tracks. There's very little in between.

The track that plays in the subway is called "Magic Handling," and the battle music is probably "The Chariot."

Both of these tracks are from OST #1

I'd agree with that for the most part. IMO RahXephon has a great soundtrack. The big problem is, that the OST leaves out over 20 songs played in the show, including most of my favorites. We get plenty of crappy heavy metal songs yet they leave out tons of good ones, including 3 Yume No Tamago remixes, and 3 different remixies of a Mishima theme I love and tons of commonly used ones too. I can only hope that they release a 4th.

Actually the song he's looking for isn't on any of the OSTs, although it is a remix of Magic Handling. MH also has a really nice remix right before it called the 'Winning Sound of Her' that I'd really recommend, although I don't recall ever hearing it in the show.

I'm pretty sure you're right on this one since we rarely hear songs other than that, MH and the one he's looking for during battles.

If only! I've heard all three, and I'd give it a flat 0% for heavy metal content. The weakness of the OST lies in the tasteless techno and somewhat flat jazz tracks (c'mon, they can do better than that!)

Personally, I think that the pulsing grindcore groove of a band like Bolt Thrower would have added some real spice to a show like this. But really, I don't think metal is ever going to be popularized like that, especially in Japan.

'Before You Know' Thank god this one had the luck of actually being on the OST -_- Another really nice one played right before it in the ep ain't there either :(
