Kazukiyo wanting to be a Kugutsu (puppet master)

Why would Kazukiyo want him and his Gowa family to be the Kugutsu of Japan? Isn’t the Gowa family powerful enough as it is? Like aren't they already the most powerful family in Japan, business wise that is. They own all sorts of departments of science and stuff, and they have enough money to run a small company. Heck they also have strong influences in the Military. And the Military is the Government. I think Kazukiyo has let the power go to his head. He is in a strong enough position as it is. Why would he need more power???

That is the question people put to all those people who wield great power or money or influence. Why more? When people have these things they always want more. That is why massive business conglomerates are always seeking to expand and grow bigger, and why countries always invade eachother and so on and so on.

Notice also that Kazukiyo takes advantage of situations near the end to steal something like 9 or 13 trillion dollars. A little excessive wouldn't you say?

However I think Kazukiyo wanted a little more than ruling Japan, I think that by binding or whatever with Gasara, he would become a God incarnate on this Earth. Perhaps he wouldn't be omnipotent or absolutely all-powerful and would need money in order to cement his rule, hence the trillions he steals. This is all educated speculation by the way.
