Ok I resently rented the dubbed version of this movie. I really liked it, but why does everyone complain about how "bad" the dub was. What is wrong with it? I have seen plenty of dubbs that suck...this was a good one i think

I don't know what peoples problems are with the dubbing, I think it's just fine. :)
Of course I never seen the original one so I wouldn't know... :look:

I'd actually reccomend you see both..the dub has more humour (or at least the jokes are more apparent in your native language), but the sub has better voice acting. The dub aslo explains things better than the sub, so if you want the complete picture you really should see both.

i don't care much which i see sub or dub as long as no edits were made in the awesome animation! holy mother this one has such AWESOME scenes............... *speechless*

well Mononoke Hime was great! ive seen the dub - its relatively OK, though i still perfer the sub =)

i saw the it in japanese (no sub or dub) and i thought it was excellent... i do speak a little japanese... but not that fast or that much... i havnt actually seen a sub or dub yet =) but im going to buy it in a week or so, buying the sub

Was it really that good? I thought the plot was badly crammed and a lot of the themes underdeveloped. Of course, the animation quality was excellent, but you can't expect less coming from Miyazaki's studios.

I saw the subtitled version at my first or second anime meeting. It was rather nice.

However, at one of my friends places I saw the trailer for the dubbed version. Gillian anderson.... he he he.
