I have not really read the manga yet (yeah I know I should as soon as possible), but as I know people have been talking about there should be more than 3 episodes. I was just curious if you that have read some of the manga could explain to me what other portions of it you would most want to see transferred into anime. I'm basically asking what do you, as fans of the manga, believe would look like amazing addtions to the anime. Right where they left off in the anime itself, some new stuff taken from the manga etc.? Try to keep spoilers at a minimum if at all possible.

Peace. V

Ehmm... I don't know... maybe the whole manga
Nah, it's just that I love this story.
But I should said that something strange happened to me with AS: when I watched the anime I only wanted to watch more & more of AS anime, but when I read the manga (I haven't read it all) I thought it was just fine 'till where the anime was. I mean, I prefer the manga, but if it's transferred into anime... of course I'm gonna get it and watch it!
(I was thinking in wich parts would be cool as anime, there are many, but it's so hard not spoil this serie)

I'd rather see them redo it from the start. Those three episodes leave a LOT out of everything that happened in the manga up to that point. Several pivotal characters were omitted, one of whom is my favorite in the whole series so I'm inherently biased.

To elaborate, the subplots of Kirie and Ruri should have been animated. I like and somewhat pity Kirie. She, Katan, and Rociel have interesting dynamics. Discluding her from the anime makes me think the anime is just an excuse to put the pretty boys on parade. Ruri's subplot was just neat in that it showed a direction the series could have taken, but obviously didn't.

It's an injustice that Zaphkiel wasn't in the anime. Granted, with only three episodes, it'd be pointless to introduce him, enigmatic as he is. He'd just raise more questions and the OVA is confusing enough.

The anime also seriously neglects Hell. Mad Hatter and Asmodeus alone are worth plodding through that godawful boring story arc. Hah, most people like the Hell arc, I know, but I think it's dull.

Oh, and the entire trial of Jibrille/Gabriel arc could've been great to watch.

...Basically, yeah, the whole thing. :heh:
