It's a series? Hm. I only saw something that looked like a movie of it. Guess I gotta rent it to find out.
yeah its a series, it looks pretty cool to me. Its about sorcery and magic, stuff like that. But it does have some nudity cuz the main character (Dark Schneider) likes his naked broads (please dont take offense) So i wouldnt probably recommend it to women who dont like that sort of thing and to small children it is a definite no-no. But yeah i think its really cool from the first four episodes, i just need to find the rest. I dont know how long it is though.
uno question. why the heck is it called "bastard" ?? i mean i've seen the 6 oavs (ooh wow like that's a lot) but I can't seem to find a relation between the story and a "bastard." can anyone enlighten me?
well it is partly from the bastard sword i believe, or it might be totally from the bastard sword. Other than that i dont really know...

AHHHH! It's called Bastard because Dark Schneider is a Bastard. They call him that numerous times, throughout. AHHHHH!
Its cuz he's a bastard, yes. But he's also a bastardized hero. Not your normal hero.

Further in the manga you see how much of a bastard he is,fondling anything with breasts, anything at all.
Good story though, but the scenario is a little repeatitive. It's the DBZ syndrome;Bigger monster appears, you see DS he stronger than he seemes, bigger monster arrive again and it seems DS is even stronger then he last seemed.
I like when his heart regenerated. That was cool.

Has anyone else noticed how old this thread is? This is back from when hybrid first joined! :jdrop: Talk about resurrection from the dead! Speaking of which... whatever happened to hybrid? (november from last year.. )
Bastard has a lot of 80s Metal Music references in case no one else has pointed that out. :p
