Is ADV actually going through this episode? If they do, then by god help them, because episode 26 is the most "wacked out" episdoe I have seen. If they are, then I must say that they have a lot of balls doing so. Sorry if this has been asked before, but the content on the last episode is a tad bit.........EXTREME!!!

Ep. 26 is worse than Puni Puni Poemi. It was ------- fantastic though.

Well if I remember right, Excel is rated PG13 in the states, so it probably won't matter, but if it's as bad as they make out to be, then who knows. But here in Oz, Excel has been getting PG ratings. So I'm not sure.

What I think would be a good is if they combined the final episode of Excel Saga, uncut, along with the 2 Puni Puni Peomi OVA's. That way if you want to see the series then the final episode won't offend anyone. And then the Extremists can watch the R rated version for pure enjoyment.

Wolfpac according to animeondvd.com the first Excel Saga DVD is rated PG-13 the remaining five disc all have NC-17 ratings.

Would an R rating on the final DVD make a material difference in sales people?

BTW considering how easy OFLC has been going on the series (PG ratings quite a joke!) will ep 26 bring the rating even close to R?

I didn't even realize the discs HAD ratings. And, just to be on the safe side, NC-17 means No Children UNDER 17, correct? Otherwise, darnit, I'd have to wait for another ten months. :: shakes fist ::

:bawling: I have another 16 months before I'm 17.

The Excel Saga DVDs at Sam Goody have "17+" stamped onto the back of them, so I think they will. Besides, not giving us the last episode would be a bad move on their part, they'd have too many complaints, and those leed to protests, which leed to reduced sales.
