What is Yuyu Hakusho really about? I know that the main guy dies and is brought back to life because I saw a couple episodes. It looks pretty cool.

I'm not really an expert, but he dies, then comes back to life thanks to....(forgot the guys name, damnit) And then is a Spirit Detective for the human world.....Please fix all my errors, lol

Me either, but yeah, that's basically it. The main guy is Yusuke and as noted, he dies in the beginning and goes through a little ordeal in order to be brought back to life after which he's named the Spirit Detective for Earth. I think that basically means hunting down and capturing or killing spirits, demons, etc. that escape from the spirit world into the living world of Earth. The show seems to be arranged in sort of story blocks/arcs. He goes on one mission for a while and when that's over he goes on another one. So it's kind of like a bunch of smaller stories inside one big, general story line. :)

P.S. if you mean the guy who rules the spirit world (at least when his father's gone), I think that's Koenma. The Grim Reaper woman who is sort of Yusuke's main contact to the spirit world is Botan. Yes, the spellings of names may be wrong.

Yeah, I remember now. I saw an episode where this cool red headed fighter tries to give up his life but Yusuke tries to give up his instead. Both live because of Yusuke's noble deed.
