Smoking

Seems that every road racer smokes besides Iketani, Kenji and Takumi (well Itsuki if you include him)

I wonder why is to relieve stress or something? I dunno because i dont drive yet sigh i really should go get my Ls

Come to think of it, I race... and I smoke (well, sometimes)... and many of my racing friends smoke...

maybe nicotine makes you a better driver ..maybe more aleart...or maybe it helps with concentration..although i dont see how smoke in your car helps with your vision ..that smoke does stick to the glass you know

Oh it definately doesn't help me be more alert or anything like that. We smoke after racing mostly cause it calms ourselves from the increased adrenaline.

What about a person who doesn't smoke. Do you actually think that smoking will calm their nerves?

Do you ever run and think man I need a smoke? Or do you smoke while already relaxing and being calm? You know why a smoke is best after sex? Because you're already calm and relaxed. Associating smoking to bring you down is stupid. It's as stupid as saying you only have sex so you can fall asleep.

Let's get to the real reason why most of the racers smoke. It's because racing is cool and so is smoking. Of course I don't share this opinion.
