Is the Sword of Baltanders of physical weapon, a magical weapon or both? By watching the series you would say pure Magical, but if you look at the opening credits Orphen uses it as a physical weapon by slicing up a lot of snake like dudes. So what sort of weapon is the Sword of Baltanders???

A lil from colomn A and a lil from colomn B. It was a creation of the Heavenly Beings as I recall, a part of the three truths. So, consider it a magical weapon that can also serve as a physical one.

I'm more thinking that it's a magical one. The intro is just a way to get people hooked into the show. There is no doubt that the Sword of Baltanders isn't just a magical weapon by how easily it stuck into The Bloody August and the fact that went straight through Azalie. But it just seemed to be used better as a Magical weapon. Its Magic potential is far greater than it physical use.

First and foremost, it's a magical weapon, though most powerful, and designed to be used in the trio of bracelet and jewel. The fact it's a sword is an added bonus being it can slice.
