As the ones of you who have been reading my posts and paying attention should know by know, the Hellsing anime throws the original plot of the manga out of the window after the attack on the Hellsing mansion and introduces Incognito. I for one didn't like him at all and do prefer the manga.

Anyhow, to the point. There are six volumes (2 of which are covered by the anime), but only the first two have been scanlated (scanned and translated :) ) by online groups so far (the group called Crunchy Cheese, who've dissappeared long ago). They might have missed chapter 6 of volume 2 if there ever was one, though (there are 6 chapters in volumes 1 and 3, but only 5 of 2 have been translated). Err... right, the point. Volume 3 has been scanlated and 4 is under way! :o

Now I can't post the links to it here (suppose PMing me about it might be allowed), but I can tell you guys what happens in it. This way you'll know, even if you have a problem with scanlations/whatever.

Errr... so anyway, here's what happens in volume 3. It begins at the Vatican, with that mean priest guy (not Anderson, his boss/whatever) bowing to a man behind a veil, probably the Pope. The man replies as he's been given a report and they agree they'll make the sinners kill each others and did their own graves while they're at it. He also says "It'll be hard for you in the 13th chapter. Making you do all these dirty jobs... to make up for the mess 50 years ago." They end up grinning and we end up at...

Alucard walks to Walter in the Hellsing mansion at night, he was staring outside thinking n'stuff. He ask him if he heard and Walter goes
I'll just directly copy their next discussion, as it's quite intresting.

Alucard: "Did you hear?"
Walter: "Yeah, I did. Never thought it'd be the nazis... to think the names of people dead 50 years ago would come up."

<This suggest there was indeed a sixth chapter in volume 2, that CrunchyCheese missed and where they discovered the attack was done by... nazi vampires. :p>

Alucard: "Heh, really. I've had a feeling about it for a while. That feeling of gloom is something I've felt before."
Walter: "Oh, how?"
Alucard: "How? You ask me how, Shinigami (god/angel of death)? There are only three reasons the "undead" would be used in combat. One is you guys. One is them. One is me. And the experimental undead unit they used 50 years ago was completely destroyed. You and I killed them all."
Walter: "...you're right, you're right, I remember now. Alucard."
Alucard: "It's a terrible thing to be "aging".
Walter: "Hmph... us English can enjoy "aging". Alucard, we're going to be sending you to South America as soon as possible. It's not that we completely trust the 13th chapter of the Vaticans, but we don't have enough information and we're running out of choices. Rumours of the remaining Nazis hiding in South America and trying to restore the Nazi regime are well known. It's an organisation that will go to such lenghts and also go to such lenghts to protect their secrets. One thing we're sure of is that they're not half-hearted. But to pick a fight with us so openly, we're not that soft-hearted as to keep quiet and let them do as they please."
Alucard: "The reason the British are on the decline is because they are like that."
Walter: "We would reject being prosperous, but without our pride. There are two essential personnel, you and Serace. I suppose the rest will be the newcomers who are practicing outside."
Alucard: "Just taking them would be bothersome. I'll just use them as messengers."
Walter: "Oh, I think they're doing quite well. Although I'm a bit worried about their instructor."

The scene shifts to Serace, who is yelling the mercenaries about how bad they are for not being able to hit a target at 500 meters. The head merc points out that this is impossible even at 500 meters and anybody who can do it must be a monster. Serace gets ticked off, hits to everybody's amazement, but manages to kill the "hostage" dolls inside the target as well. This sounds dull, but is drawn hilariously. :D

Walter (after witnessing the past event): "I worry about the future... Oh yes, I wanted to ask you something."[i]
Alucard: [i]"What"
Walter: "Why did you turn her into a Vampire? It's unlike you to do such a thing."
Alucard: "Who knows. On a whime? No, she chose out to of her own free will. How did you handle her?"
Walter: "We reported her as missing at the "Cheddar's village" case."
Alucard: "Her family didn't protest?"
Walter: "She has no family, she's an orphan."
Alucard: "Hehe.. I thought so, it makes sense. She is much more intresting than she looks. From the very start, her superiors and colleagues were turned into Ghouls one after another in that village of death. A hell not unlike the witch's cauldron, in which Vampires tried to rape and kill her. And what do you think that woman decided? "Giving up" kills people. When a person refuses to give, he earns the right to walk up the path of humanity."[i]
Walter: [i]"...heh, now if she would only drink blood... right?"
Alucard: "She'll drink... She will... She will most definetly drink."

They then discuss how to get her across the ocean, Alucard was planning a coffin. Apparently Vampires can't cross running waters or something. We then see Alucard, dressed in a very cool "business suit" and with his hair differently, sitting on Serace's coffin. The mercenaries are nailing it shut and Serace is screaming "Let me oooooooout..." all the time. Integra then walks in and performs the most amusing comment in a long time, "This will never get past customs." :D

Walter informs her there will be no such thing as it's a smuggling ship. Integra then comments on Alucards new clothing and he says "I can't board a plane looking like that and I'll be walking in public. Besides, for me sunlight isn't fatal. I simply hate it." Integra then gives him his only order, "Search and destroy" and the first chapter ends.

I'll tell about the rest later. Mods, please tell me if I'm breaking any rules by this (directly typing short sections of a manga) and I'll edit it into something more vague. :)
