Yu Yu Hakusho is mentioned in TV Guide

In the March 29-April 4 issue of TV Guide, Yu Yu Hakusho is listed under "Best Bets" on their Family Page. Here is the description:

Because it's like the only good anime on Toonami anymore? Haven't seen Rurouni Kenshin, so sorry RK fans, no disrespect to ya'll what-so-ever i'm just theorizing here

Why they picked YYH over other Toonami shows or why they picked it at all (over anything else on TV)? Well, Rurouni Kenshin is pretty cool, too, actually. A much different setting though, a period of Japan's past with much sword based martial arts stuff. Comparing those two, maybe they think people will more easily understand YYH's setting than RK's? I don't know. I like and watch them both.

no offense but, RK can get pretty boring sometimes especially when Kaoru goes "save the maiden" mode... maybe it's just because I HATE Kaoru. wehehehehe. I only liked RK when I got to watch the Kyoto Arc, everything else didn't catch my drift. Also, YYH IS probably a lot easier for people to relate to since it has some western elements in it that makes it easy for western people to adopt it and the japanese culture that is part of it, you kind of get the idea of what it is. It's not so heavily japanese where you have to know certain history and even if it has some japanese folktale included, they're explained in YYH anyhoo.

yea RK does kinda get confusing. YYH is more interesting so its understandable they picked it to be in the guide. but im not dissing RK :heh:
