Got Milk?

Do you remember when Tetsuo was having that weird experience with the three experiments involving the Teddy Bear, Rabbit and Truck? Well near the end of that sequence the three toys started to turn into milk. Now why milk? Is it because Milk is usually associated with kid’s toys? Or is it because Masaru, Kiyoko and Takashi all look like kids? Or is there another reason?

Ignoring the previous comment, asuming that white thing actually was milk, I suppose Wolfpac is quite close to truth, milk has a certain infantile feeling, basically because also newborns drink milk from their mother and then all kids have to drink milk to grow strong bones. I believe the experiments may be old, but they don't just look like kids, they actually ARE kids in a lot of ways. They are still raised by the colonel and have quite an inocent attitude most of the time, even considering their superior perception and powers. I suppose all this goes together with the fact that they are more linked to AKIRA who is somehow the archae, the origin of it all as th maximum pure energy state, and so they are closer to the begining.

Well, I thought it was milk because moments ago Tetsuo was in need of water. Then the toys appeared and were drenched in milk - which is what he didn't want at all.
