Lol, good thing I've already seen the entire series in well translated fansubs. The name changing and ad-libbing is really uncalled for. It's really unprofessional. Mogi(iirc the spelling) keeps calling her sugar daddy "baby" and they totally add in wording that isn't original. It's not even stuff that "you need to add because of the translation gap", it's just totally bullshit. The scanlation groups don't seem to have any trouble filling in the speach bubbles with the right words, but tokyopop likes to fill one up with the correct translation, and the other in some cases with just BS that is added.
I know I just got the GN's to start my collection, but man, this has reworried me about how bad the anime release will be. Don't think it will be good, it won't be. Expect really bad scripts, stupid names we don't know and changed music "to fit the US audience better" or some BS.
All I can do is :lol: and cry at the same time.
