Everyone was saying how the third game would have the .hack//sign characters appear

The new gamefpro has an add for .hack//mutation(2nd one i believe), and its a picture of kite and blackrose encountering tsukasa, mimiru, and bear.

The characters look a lot like Mimiru, Bear and Tsukasa.

and the fact that the barbell guardian character is in one of them sorta reveals there will be some referal to .hack//sign

yes, i read that in Cyber Connect 2's website a long time ago. most of it are flashbacks and mimiru and bear has very minor roles. if you choose to follow them in vol. 3, you'll get their weapons ^_^

what im more interested in is the .hack//Another Story (that is available through mail-in in japan and available in vol. 6 of the .hack//SIGN dvd in the US) which supposedly has the characters on the game meeting the characters of SIGN in animation.

So, is it them, or just people who just look like them. Cause that sure looks like them ... a lot. Or, did you say they were flashbacks or something? This all looks pretty cool.

Hai, Fatal Outlaw says that most of themare indeed flashbacks (too lazy to quote right now). Keyword there is 'most'.

That leaves any other scene that, hopefully, the three are in as the 'present'. So, assuming that they 'do' meet the trio (plus Subaru, even?), then it would either be them, or - highly unlikely here - it would be like in DUSk and people cosplaying as them.

its them, the characters from SIGN. i have not played vol. 2-4 yet, but from the info i have i know you meet Sora, Bear, and Mimiru in the game (in the present).

o yea, very minor spoiler (read if youve seen all of SIGN)




there's also a flashback of Tsukasa, Mimiru, and Bear in real life. im not sure if Subaru shows up in the games, i think she does b/c there's a 3D model of her in CC's website
