Rah questions... Stuff that don't make sense.

1. Why doesn't Maya stop Ayato from leaving? She had chances several times yet she always allows RahXephon to escape.

2. If you explain Maya letting Ayato leave as a way of letting him grow up... Then why do the Mulians send out Dolems to get him back? Each Dolem is sent out and sent back in a coffin... Do the Mulian's like dying?

3. What is the point of Mr. Barbem raising a helena clone so that he could take her body right before the tuning? I mean what is Helena for?

4. Why are all the clones identical and only Itsuki looks strikingly different from Ayato? ( ex. All helena's and the D child are identical.)

Answered:
The reason Ayato and Itsuski do not look alike is NOT because they are twins... Because all clones are in definition Identical twins...

The REASON is because Ayato is "special"... Ayato is the "chosen" by ishitori that will become "one" with RahXephon.

If Ayato was identical to Itsuski then Itsuski should have been able to Tune RahXephon as well...

Instead Ishitori chose Ayato because he was different... A genetic mistake/mutation while cloning...

So Ayato is like Quon who has no Identical clone. He is the chosen performer to tune RahXephon~!



5. Asahina loves ayato yet she can't stop trying to drive RahXephon to the ground?
I don't believe she was controlled by the dolem. I know they need a dolem to live, but every other instance the Mulian is always in control of their Dolem. (ex. Mamorou, Maya, Jin's commander, Mulian counterpart of Allegretto.)

6. What does Wizard of Oz have to do with anything?....

7. Quon's garter... She wears it for medical purposes... But she's perfectly healthy while completely naked later in the show...????

Besides Ayato's actions are a bit crazy with his turning against His "MU" family and friends so quickly... For Example... If an Alien abducted you and told you that your mom and Friends were the "MU" would you start helping the aliens kill your family and friends?

Haruka and Mishima are NOT the same...

Mishima uses Harukas likeness though, She part of the Rahxephon system... Thats alittle hard to explain but i will try.
Please not this is for the anime.. The manga appears to handle this diffrently but i've only read the first 3 chapters so far...

And you must remember that when the world is tuned all this goes to hell anyway... The tuning 'removes' all this stuff and everyone has a nice normal life...

Mishima Reka is part of the Xephon system she is the Istori (I know i spelt that wrong...) , How do we know this? Because of her actions and where she shows up, Also the way that every one except Ayato (Who is also part of theis system as Orin). When Ayato returns to Tokyo Jupiter no one in the class even remembers her existance till she shows up infrount of them, The suddenly they remember...

Ishtori is both the catalist and the core for the whole Xephon system.... Um....
She triggers the whole process by awakening the 'players' (Quion & Ayato) and the whole tunning revolves around the battle bettween the 2 players... Using Ishtori as a power source for the process, Before tuning can happen both Orins need to accept Ishtori for her true form or something... Not to sure on that last part... I have a few projects to do or i'd go do some research...

She also represents other stuff to but i cant say im very farmiller with the legends that these are based off...

Haruka leaves Tokyo Jupiter before the Mu uprising/Attack whatever you want to call it, For some reason he loses his memory of Haruka exceept the image on the cliff (Proabably because Mishima takes over the likness.. Memory modifercation?)

The easyest way to explain this is that Mishima is a Spirit takeing Harukas form i guess...

Humans were sent suits... The suits were called the Vermillion... They have to be inside and physically push levers and pull the trigger... :p

Dolems are mind controlled... You are one with the dolem... Damage to the dolem also damages you the same way it damages the pilots of the Evangelions. There are neural connections since you are mind controlling them.

If Elvy was controlling a Dolem she would have felt the pain from losing her leg and arm in the fight with Allegretto...

Besides your theories of Ishitori is incorrect. Ishitori takes the form of what ever the person sees Ishitori as.

Quon's Ishitori actually states that very clearly... Remember? Ayato shows up to Quon, but it's not ayato at all? And Ishitori in Ayato's form tells Quon that they have to become one?

In my opinion... Itsuski Actually wants to see ishitori as Quon... yet he can't since he's not the "one"






I want to believe there is more to Barbem's designs for Helena...

If he wanted young eyes, he could just of cloned himself... That's the most logical...





Theres also the fact that they blasted Mishima lets not forget that.

In my copy it says that Helena gave her body to Barbem... And there really isn't any real evidence that Barbem's old body has helena inside...

Barbem's old body never actually moves after Helena gives herself to him... And there is also a sudden need for a clone to push Barbem's old body around when Barbem never had a clone to push him around before...

Well, RahXephon is pretty powerful...

But if Maya stopped him by force, then it's unlikely that he would ever fulfill his destiny and "tune the world". Why would he ever get into RahXephon again?

Again, to make him fulfil his destiny. If the Dolems hadn't attacked, TERRA would have separated RahXephon and Ayato, and locked Ayato up somewhere for being a Mulian.

But the Dolems are something that only RahXephon and Ayato can defeat, so their attacks force him to fight, and force TERRA to allow him to pilot RahXephon.

Don't know for sure, but it's possible that his body was on its last legs, and he wasn't sure he would live long enough otherwise.

It's a necessary deception. If Ayato and Itsuki looked identical, then as soon as we see them together we'd realise that they were clones, which would rather spoil things a bit.

It's a bit like in half of Shakespeare's plays: Somebody can put on a half-assed disguise, and not even their closest loved ones will recognise them, because it's necessary to the plot.

Well, we don't really know all that much about Dolems, but remember that whenever we see a Mulian controlling a Dolem, he/she is wearing one of those funny helmet thingies, which Asahina wasn't. My guess is that if you haven't got one of those helmets, then you can't control the Dolem, but are still linked to it.

I don't think you mean garter...You're referring to that white vest type thing? Well, it's established early on that she can take it off for short periods of time, but its true function is never revealled, as far as I'm aware.

Maya doesn't know about his love. Maya Does not know about Mishima... Maya calls her Ishitori each and every time... Even when Maya tries to recall the last number Ayato dialed to find out who he called... It's a out of order number...

Dolems? To rule the world. To remind the outside that there is no peace while they exist.

Dolems all attack Ayato... They seek him out and attack him... Each tries to Capture him.... Yet, Maya has the chance to overwhelm Ayato at the beginning and prevent him from leaving.

He knew his old body would get shot. He switched bodies to fool people so he could watch the cadence.

If he knew that he would get shot... Then he's a fortune teller... No where does it mention he has psychic powers.

Also He tells Helena... "It's time..." They've planned this for a long time... It wasn't a spur of a moment idea to prevent White Snake from shooting him.

Best answer I've gotten so far... I've been thinking of this one, Yet she sends out Fortisimo on a suicide attempt?... (Tuning Fork Dolem to stop him...) Fortisimo dies pretty easily... And she continues to send out Dolems to die...

Again, to make him fulfil his destiny. If the Dolems hadn't attacked, TERRA would have separated RahXephon and Ayato, and locked Ayato up somewhere for being a Mulian.

But the Dolems are something that only RahXephon and Ayato can defeat, so their attacks force him to fight, and force TERRA to allow him to pilot RahXephon.

If Ayato didn't get out... Terra would NEVER get RahXephon... By letting Ayato out... She turns over Both HER SON and RAhXEphon AGAINST herself...
Notice the Episode where Ayato basically pushes her mom to the ground... And Ayato does an end of evangelion like Scene and destroys a beautiful building that he built... I've watched RahXephon very thoroughly...

It's a necessary deception. If Ayato and Itsuki looked identical, then as soon as we see them together we'd realise that they were clones, which would rather spoil things a bit.

It's a bit like in half of Shakespeare's plays: Somebody can put on a half-assed disguise, and not even their closest loved ones will recognise them, because it's necessary to the plot.

I figured that but I wanted an explanation that I can use if someone asked me... I want answers for everything and I've gotten most of them for Evangelion... I thought Rah should have the same.

I don't believe she was controlled by the dolem. I know they need a dolem to live, but every other instance the Mulian is always in control of their Dolem. (ex. Mamorou, Maya, Jin's commander, Mulian counterpart of Allegretto.)

Well, we don't really know all that much about Dolems, but remember that whenever we see a Mulian controlling a Dolem, he/she is wearing one of those funny helmet thingies, which Asahina wasn't. My guess is that if you haven't got one of those helmets, then you can't control the Dolem, but are still linked to it.

Asahina was wearing one of those helmets... Look at the Ghost-like Asahina that comes to her as she is writing in her diary...

Everyone who has a dolem has the helmet on. The helmet only signifies that they are in direct linked through the brain...

1. Why doesn't Maya stop Ayato from leaving? She had chances several times yet she always allows RahXephon to escape.

She loves him, and want him to find his love.

Maya doesn't know about his love. Maya Does not know about Mishima... Maya calls her Ishitori each and every time... Even when Maya tries to recall the last number Ayato dialed to find out who he called... It's a out of order number...


Maya does not need to know about her to want her son to find love.

2. If you explain Maya letting Ayato leave as a way of letting him grow up... Then why do the Mulians send out Dolems to get him back? Each Dolem is sent out and sent back in a coffin... Do the Mulian's like dying?

Dolems? To rule the world. To remind the outside that there is no peace while they exist.

Dolems all attack Ayato... They seek him out and attack him... Each tries to Capture him.... Yet, Maya has the chance to overwhelm Ayato at the beginning and prevent him from leaving.

3. What is the point of Mr. Barbem raising a helena clone so that he could take her body right before the tuning? I mean what is Helena for?

He knew his old body would get shot. He switched bodies to fool people so he could watch the cadence.

If he knew that he would get shot... Then he's a fortune teller... No where does it mention he has psychic powers.

Also He tells Helena... "It's time..." They've planned this for a long time... It wasn't a spur of a moment idea to prevent White Snake from shooting him.

The reason Ayato and Itsuski do not look alike is NOT because they are twins... Because all clones are in definition Identical twins...

The REASON is because Ayato is "special"... Ayato is the "chosen" by ishitori that will become "one" with RahXephon.

If Ayato was identical to Itsuski then Itsuski should have been able to Tune RahXephon as well...

Instead Ishitori chose Ayato because he was different... A genetic mistake/mutation while cloning...

So Ayato is like Quon who has no Identical clone. He is the chosen performer to tune RahXephon~!

3 of the Dolem names (Allegreto, Fortissimo and Falsetto) were provided in the series. One (Obligato, which is the humanoid one) was submitted to me by another RahXephon fan through email. All the others were translated from the RahXephon Bible, which has all the Dolems up to episode 19 (even though the bible itself only covers the first 14 episodes or so). Yes, Pibaacha is a weird one, that and Orutaneto were the only ones I couldn't find corresponding musical terms for.

Okay I've seen the first 5 episodes a total of 3 times now with the last two times coming within the last month so I'll have a go at answering the first two questions.

What do you mean by not trying to stop Ayato from leaving? She summoned two dolems to Rah's room. Maya wasn't going to have a dolem tea party, they were there to stop RahXephon from leaving.

Do you think it was coincidence that the RahXephon's eye focused on Maya after she was hit across the face by the shattered rock exposing her blue blood? Seeing this obviously freaked Ayato out which would be understandable if anyone saw a human being let alone their "mother" with blue blood.

Reika Mishima aka Ishitori aka Goddess of the Mulian/Soul Of RahXephon obviously focused the gaze of the RahXephon on Maya which made Ayato freak out and leave Rah's Room with the Xephon, Haruka and Ishitori.

Now you say Maya did not try to stop him, well is sending the dolem Fortissimo not trying to stop him according to you? Then RahXephon crushed the Fortissimo in battle and immediately left Tokyo Jupiter afterwards. There was no time to send out more/stronger dolems to battle it into submission, to prevent him from escaping.

You do remember Haruka saying how it takes lots of resources and energy to brake through the Tokyo Jupiter barrier, well the same would apply to the Mulians which would explain why they can only send out one dolem at a time. So their was no way they could just send a dolem out straight away and recapture Ayato and Xephon.
