Burn up Excess episode 4...?_?

Ok i got Burn up Excess a few days ago and episode 4 just completely baffles me, what on earth was going on with all theese strange new jersey accented suits repeating themselves over and over again..why do japaneese syndicates all wear hawain shirts?
And what was with all this "you sure have gotten Tokyo on us" routine?

And on a side note did anyone notice that Mayas dad looked and acted just the same as Yurikas father in Nadesico? both of them were extremelty eccentric and loved to fondle and peep on their own daughters...

If characters like theese were in British TV prgrammes they would be banned for promoting incest:lol:

no idea about the suits, the "you sure you have gotten Tokyo on us" thing is probably meant to mean that she's changed (taken on some charatistics of Tokyo residents?)

I brought it on DVD in a british sci-fi store. I was planning to bit Gundam wing volume6 but i just noticed it and i realised burn up Excess had good reviews. So i bought it..and i liked it!

I liked the gag about the syndicates, it was hilarious. That whole ep was pretty damn funny. Maya's father fondling and perving on her was pretty dodgy though.

BTW, there is a Burn Up forum. It's pretty stale though, so you probably made a good move posting it here.

Does anyone know if ADV are gonna bring out The other burn up excess epsidoes in the UK? the dvd of the first 4 episodes did'nt have a volume number on it.

i think they have bought out B-up W and Excess 1 so far, but are bringing out Excess vol 2 next month

They're supposed to be gangsters. I recently went to Japan and Osaka has a lot of organised crime. You see, the infamous 'Yakuza' are based in Osaka. So they were just having a laugh. It is quite different to Tokyo, everything was just different. From the food they eat to the cars they drive.
