Ever since Yu Yu was ported from Adult Swim to Toonami, some were worried that the extra editing would be a big drag. Well, so far things haven't been too bad.

Now, I may be wrong, but the amount of blood being reduced isn't that much, which is one thing, and the language is obviously being changed to have the old Hells and a$$ that the Adult Swim version allowed to be said changed into something different.

But what I'm really talking about here is suggestive dialogue. The kind of stuff regularly deleted from Dragonball Z which airs a half hour earlier.

Some dialogue from the Toonami Version:

Kuwabara: "I had a dream last night"
Yusuke: "Was she hot?"

Kuwabara: "Yurameshi they're for real"
Yusuke: "The fox Girl's?"

Yusuke (To Keiko): "Since when did you start to fill out in all the right places."

Do you think they are editing Yu Yu Hakusho a little less than they are DBZ and maybe even Kenshin (I won't go into detail about Kenshi, its editing is so contradictory it aggravates me).

But still they edited out some of the grousume scenes. Such as rando breaking Kuwabara's arm, and Also that saint beast's head being chopped off and shattered.

Dialog might be better than normal standards, but the deleted scenes speak for themselves...

Ah, I didn't watch the first season on Toonami, only the second.

yea..they edited out way to much bloody scenes but the 'hinted' sexual jokes is good enough for me watching it on toonami and all..

Yeah, the first episode we see Jin(and yes this was on Toonami) I caught him saying damn I think it was 'Ah I don't give a damn' or something along those lines in any case he said which means they have greatly lightened the load of stuff they edit from the show which is a good thing, most likely because alot of anime fans have been protesting to CN as we have here on the boards.

That fight with Rando was painfull to watch. But editing is editing, I don't see why they only do some of it. Either they should do none or all. It gets on my nerves.

Maybe one day man we will have total freedom, for instance the freedom to watch whatever the ---- we want on TV like they do in other countries, they don't have the money to do all this piny any editing ----.

Cn is the one who edits it, but they don't WANT to. They HAVE to. You want to correct the "problem," you go to the source. Go to the government. Go to the firm in charge of content on American Television. Riot against the more ridiculous and (sometimes) naive parts of Political Correctness.

It would take alot of rioting, alot of protesting, alot of $$$ spending.

We don't have enough people, enough energy, or enough money. If we had those three things we could get our uncut anime with the editing standards of Japan, which are like the temeperature of Alaska below zero hehe
