I dun get the ending

The manga is ongoing and due to artistic differences between Gainax and the creator of the manga, the option for a continuation of the animated series is remote.

Anyways, as far as the manga serial goes,if I recall, its been continuing over Japan at the moment. Although, anyone from the US can confirm this for me for all I can tell (:sweatdrop ) Tokyopop released the first part of the series (manga/comic) based from the anime.

MrBS already summed up the reason why Kare-Kano came to an abrupt end...leaving viewers with disappointed faces (us fans aren't very happy about it when it happened).

Anno does make me think, he makes me think he ran out of money. Besides what the hell was with all the recap episodes? the budget thats what. I get the feeling this show had next to nothing budget wise. I mean im willing to forgive the cheapness of some of the episodes as it didnt detract from the whole experience, but the sheer amount of re-capping was stupid, and seemed very lazy to me.

I'll put it this way, Anno is not my fav director right now.

Anno actually had very little to do with the series, at least after a certain point. I don't know the full details, but apparently he wanted to change some things from the manga, and the creators of the manga wouldn't let him, so he pretty much withdrew from the series and remained director in name only.

At least, that's what I've heard.

Maybe you should get the ending from the manga series.
But I heard some rumours about the next episodes of Karekano.
The ending from the anime is different with the manga.
Anno makes us guess do Arima and Yukino really separate at the end?
