I would like to know what happen at the end of the series and also what is the movie is about

Ayato realized that he was destined to tune the world. He found life worth living...

To recreate the world he must become one with RahXephon/god... Once he's become one with RahXephon the world turns into an egg...


Ayato re-lives his life with Mishima Haruka...



The movie will retell the story and give us a deeper insight into the love story behind Ayato's obsession with Haruka.

It's going to be like Eva: Death and Rebirth and add maybe a 10-20 minutes of new film...

Please realize that, no matter what people say, a lot of stuff in Rah is open to interpretation. So, unless it's from Izubuchi's mouth, it's not really cannon.

I rewatched the first half of episode 8 yesterday and Haruka was running in the snow and Ayato asked her if she was doing it to keep in shape for her job, of course in the retuned world she doesn't have a job hence why she's chubbier as well as having the baby.

I did speak of the ending of the series in my attempted explanation with regards to the Mu. Only you, one having no grasp of even Rahxephon's basic plot, could deny the significance of the Mu in the resolution of the series.

But the thread itself was a discussion of some "unexplained" aspects in Rahxephon, including the ending. The reason why we don't get serious discussion in these boards is the fact that any attempt to do so is diluted by these inane offshoot threads. There is no discussion when each "discussion" thread consists of a dozen or fewer legitimate posts, most of them drowned in torrents of your marginally coherent rambling.


I mean everything he says is just screaming... "LISTEN TO ME.... Everything ANYONE else SAYS... is nothing..." There's no humour... No toning down... Just plain rudeness...

You're not saying anything worth mentioning. It's quite funny really, for I am often one with a reputation for helping out n00bs online. I guess your incessant prattle has destroyed my capacity for humor on these boards.


I do have a criticism for Orin, though:

Orin's analysis, while certainly detailed, ultimately denies the existence of the Mu. In light of the main plot points, such a view is somewhat short sighted. When everything in the series screams towards reunification, how is it that things aren't reunified in the end? One side just simply ceases to exist.

That seems to be a flaw of omission, and my conjecture is intended to re-integrate the Mu thread into the rather literal interpretation of the ending.

I am by no means the first to point this out, if one checks the reviews at animenfo.com.
