Who's cuter, Tohru (Fruba), or Chii (Chobits)?

Alright, so Chi's been the #1 character in books and polls, but she doesn't have anything on Tohru. I mean anyone who watched Fruits Basket should know just how cute Tohru is. I don't just mean looks either, but in her personality. She's cute, compassionate, definitely funny, and never gets mad, despite what anyone does to her (I seem to be infatuated with her, mainly cause she's SO DAMN CUTE!!!!)
Chii, I will give her credit. She kinda reminds me of Key (Key the metal Idol), in her attittude and is also "very cute" when she says Chii. She's different than most cute but annoying androids like Mahoro (mahoromatic) or May, Kei, rena and sarah (Hand Maid May). But that doesn't make her a good character. I will also admit that I've only seen the 1st volume of Chobits and have seen up to the 3rd volume of Fruba, so I can't make any definite decisions, right? I LOVE Tohru and their ain't nothing Chii can do to change my mind.

What do you think? Chii or Tohru?

Tohru was placed 3rd as fave female anime character previously (not sure but i think in 1999) in Newtype.

Edit: At least Tohru dosen't say pantsu which is a good thing. :D

Ok I've only seen the first 3 episodes of Chobits and all of Fruits Basket anime, so I'm a bit biased.

But IMOP, Chi HAS NO PERSONALITY! She just begins as oodles of fanservice cuteness in a CLAMP package. I'm assuming she becomes more "human" later on in the series that I didn't get to, but again, I didn't get to that part.

At least Tohru has a kind personality, makes the lives of everyone she meets better, and would make a kick-ass guidance counseler. (Aside from the slight empty-headedness...) Tohru is the kind of character I would love to have as a friend, while Chi...well she connects to the internet...

Just to let everyone know my friend post this one not me. Personally I think chi is cuter, because of the fact that tohru is not really cute more herico than anything thing. Plus all she do is just give people advice here and there thats it. Chi did way more things cuter than her. So chi 1st.

I think this is an odd comparison, since the two series have nothing to do with each other, and that Chii is a persocon and Tohru is not. However, if I were to pick who is the cuter one, I would choose Tohru, because she's nice, has a cute personality, and is actually human.

Chii, on the other hand, while she is cute, is not quite human, has a tendency to say "chii" from time to time, and ends up in odd situations exposing her "pantsu" as far as I know.

This is an even tougher decision than I had anticipated, but I'd say Tohru. Chii just looks too...robot-ish, and that really makes her uncute to me.

chii is sute, and she does get more personality towards to end of the series, although ive only seem volume 1, but i have read the manga.

But outta Chii and Tohru (i dont get that name, i speak japanese and i cant see how the japanese would write that, there's no "hru" character) I'd probably have to say Tohru. Just a wee bit more kawaii........
