Can anyone tell me why that on Namek with the dragonballs their you can only wish one person back at a time, but on Earth with these dragonballs they are able to wish back all the people killed by Frieza. Is this difference between dragonball abilities explainable?

The power of the creator apparently. That doesn't really explain the difference but later in the series the Namek balls get upgraded to include any amount of people. Go figure.

That would have been good to have been in from the beginning. Then they could have wished all the Z fighters from King Kais planet to Namek at the same time. Would have proved a little more interesting I believe.

yeah but we've already gotten to the point where most of the Z team can't do squat....

Hehehe ... King Kai is a very good trainer, but after a while, his training doesn't seem to matter much at all.

Actually, about the Dragonball question. I believe that it was Dai Kaioushin(-sama) that said it (later, near the end of the Majin Buu saga) best. He said that only the more mature Nameks are supposed to have Dragonballs and that they're not supposed to be able to wish more than one person back at a time.
Oh, and Kaio-sama (King Kai) is a good trainer, just as Kamesennin (Roshi) and Karin (Korin? the cat) were good trainers. Just, after awhile, they're too weak to be of much good.
