Anyone Seen Orphen's Revenge?

I just finished watching the Orphen:Complete Collection. I thought the story and characters were funny and interesting. Does Orphen's Revenge picked up where it left off, or is it not as good as the original?

I'm also interested in how good it is compared to the first series. I thought the first season was interesting, and I'm surprised that more people haven't seen it.

As you'll see by my screen shots - 40 to each ep, the art is very different. It's less detailed, eyes are differently styled, even characters are styled differently. You'll be blown away by how different Revenge is to the first series. While there is a dark undertone to the story, the majority is line a filler-fest. It's humor driven. Orphen is also not angsty, but then again, he has no reason to be anymore. He's more like Lina Inverse from Slayers, even blows up things randomly, and is known as "the evil sorcerer". Hartia is still everyone's fave superhero, though now he's "New Black Tiger", along with side-kick "White Club". You'll enjoy Orphen Revenge, though only if you enjoy things like "Slayers Next".

It's been almost three years, but I finally watched Orphen's Revenge!! :) I must say that the story wasn't bad, actually it was quite sad. There was definately alot of filler episodes, compared to the first season though. The comedy here was golden as I always laughing at Volken and Dorton and how Orphen dealt with them! Cleo and Majic were pretty funny too. I was quite sad after watching the last episode. I wanted to watch more, but at this point Orphen's pretty much defeated most of the villans. I'm not sure if there's any manga content that continues their journey, but I would love to read them and see what they're up to, especially Lycoris and the Tower of Fang. Anyways, I'm glad that I was able to watch it all! :)

It wasn't as good as the original but still enjoyable. The whole shopping joke got a bit tired after a while. My main problem was, Why oh why was Orphen not wearing a Shirt for most of the series. I know the show was aimed at the female audience but still.

Other than that, not a bad sequel series.
