It's always best to decide for yourself but these (if your talking about the quality of the episodes and not the dvd itself) are rather good episodes that continue off where dvd stopped).

One of the major relationships of this series becomes clear during this dvd, i figured it out while watching the fansubs as they came out let's see if you can.

i liked the episodes on dvd 1 better, but the story is better on dvd 2 (btw, im not saying the eps on dvd 2 are bad, im just saying dvd 1 was better)

anyway, cover is UGLY, extras are average (clean OP and ED which were also on dvd 1, dub VA interviews and production sketches). hmmm...what else...o yea, major plus for naked-water-sillouhette of reika in episode 9 :)

Personally, I thought both were quite good and love my two DVDs. And I must concur with Westlo by saying that the storyline was a better in the RahXephon volume 2 DVD in reference to the relationships of the series.

Both volumes of the series were quite good, though. So if you're interested in buying volume two, go for it. Besides, if you don't like it after all, you could always try selling it on Ebay or something. :)

What's worth buying in the second DVD is the interviews of the major drawers and voice actresses... You get a look into what made RahXephon and what the story is all about...

And Grave does have tobe one of the ugliest dolems in history...

Thats the joy of buying online.

I think that in this volume, things settle down and the story becomes a bit less muddled and confusing... at least untill episode 9.

Quick question

Does Volume 2 come with a insert booklet like Volume 1 did?
