Episode 25 question

With episode 25 when Watanabe is standing infront of Hyatt who has a gun pointing to him.

Did she shoot Watanabe or not? There was a gun shot sound but later on in the episode Watanabe looks fine and Hyatt is in her "dead" state

Yeah that confused me a bit too. I'm guessing that just as she pulled the trigger that she died and missed. Or the new Daitenzin suits reflected the bullet. But since it was aimed at his head with his mask off, I think it's the first one. Hyatt has the knack of dying at the wrong times.

For some reason I thought that maybe the bullet came out the other way ... for some random reason. But with her dying right at the moment she pulled the trigger sounds more logical

It's highly likely she just pulled the trigger and missed. I've seen it happen at such ranges, and only with inexperienced shooters. The adoption of such a bad stance proves it.
Or maybe she just had a dud round. I've had that happen to me before.
