Why are Masaru, Kiyoko and Takashi scared of Blood???
They were messing with Tetsuo pretty badly with the whole giant toys thing, but when Tetsuo cut himself and started to bleed, the three of them retreated. Now Takashi makes sense because after all he is still a kid, but Masaru and Kiyoko are virtually adults so why would they be scared???

I was wondering the same thing. Although, I wouldn't say they were scared of the blood as such, because she says "Weirdo!" when Tetsuo cuts his foot on the glass. What a puzzler. ^^

EDIT: It's not known if Masaru dislikes blood, because he wasn't there during the giant toy scene. It was Kiyoko and Takashi.

You don't have to be a child to dislike blood. I'm a grown man and I don't like the site of blood. However I'm sure that the "children" all were surprised to see blood when all that they meant to do was merely awaken Tetsuo's latent potential by sort of scaring him. It probably was something they didn't take into account and ended up getting surprised by more than anything.
