When Japan and America are on the brink of war and are nearing the Last Hour, you see Kazukiyo stealing $20,000,000,000,000 (20 Trillion Dollars). Now I want to know is who did he steal this from? America or Japan? Also was he successful? (Sorry, I don't remember) And if he was successful, who would get the money once he was taken by Gasaraki???

Anyhow now to the $20 trillion. I loved that scene, it shocked me so much I nearly fell over.

I assume, that since Gowa was plugged into the Japanese, and therefore world stock exchange, as they were going to pull Japan's assets right out of the world economy as described in Nashida's plan, Kazukiyo was thus able at that time to put this "compensation plan" into effect.

Remember, Kazukiyo said that there was a 50% chance that the plan would be successful, but that he personally believed it would fail. So Kazukiyo set up a "compensation plan", where should they fail, and the US stopped Japan, he would either way gain $20 trillion.

Now think about how large that sum of money is. Corporations deal in multi-millions to billions of dollars. Big Governments deal in far more than that, usually into several trillion dollars.

He has just stolen 20 trillion dollars. 20. Trillion.

With that kind of money, even if he was not in control of Japan, it would not matter, because he could significantly influence and alter the world. Governments would be crying with joy if they had a $20 trillion surplus. This is what Kazukiyo has.

Would it matter if he managed to get what he wanted from Gasara? Probably not. But he is the type of person to always have a backup plan, and several different options available to achieve his objective/s.

But he obviously is taken by Gasara, and poor him, he can't use the money. It is likely that it will fall into the hands of the Gowa family. Where exactly he stole the money from, US, Japan, I'm not sure. I assume it was just the world stock market in general, but it may just have been Japan.

20 Trillion...if someone gave the US 20 Trillion we would be able to pay off most of the nation's debt. Then the dollar would be worth so much that everyone else would collapse, the exchange rate would be like .01 US for 100 of everything else! Mwa ha ha ha ha! Now, where to get 20 Trillion?
