Episode 4 of excess had to be the wackiest episode of anime i have ever saw. It just baffled me why everyone was repeating themselves the first time i saw it.

And did anyone notice that in the japanese version there was no "someone got a visit from the titty fairy" line?

it was just "you sure have gotten "big city" on us.

Thats what i liek about ADV, they vastly improve humour and script in the dub than the jap version. You'll proabbrly get a lot of purist otaku's whining about this, but anything that makes a show better is good in my opinion.

The dubbers always like to add dirty, western humor to the subtle Japanese scripts.....Now, all they need to do is improve the voice acting :rolleyes:

what do you mean? the american dubbers were much better than the poor/mediocre japanewse VA's of burn up.

Plus if this was shown on the american CN it would edited to hell.

in which you probabrly mean manga entertainment dubs, tehy suck. Generally ADV dubs kick ass.

The evnagellion dubb was pretty good in my opinion. Much better than the lame japanese VA's that made rei sound like some spirited high school girl who was going out with josh captain of the baseball team:mad:

and anyway just think how terrible it would have been if Manga would have dubbed it *shudder*.

I think maga agree with me since when they licensed end of evangellion tehy had to beg all ADV voice actors to come and work for them.:lol:
