After all the hype, I found episode 26 very ordinary. It wasn't near as depraved as it could have been, and I feel people give it too much credit. Sure it was entertaining, but it wasn't that bad. Am I the only one who feels this way about 26?

Episode 26 didnt live up to what I heard about it, sure it was out there and wacked but it was just another episode and frankly that sex/violence humour wasnt all that funny

It needed more...lesbian action between Etchan and Hatchan. :D
Episode 26, in my view, was a test to see how far they could go.......They re-drew the line in the sand. Then, they did it again with Puni Puni Poemi. What's next?
I was probably suject to the same amount of misinformation from people who have 'had a friend' see it then tell you. I found it to be a funny ep but the hype behind it did detract a tiny bit. And with that....
VISUAL!!! VISUAL VISUAL!!!

This is what happens when you listen to all of the hype. If I didn't hear thing like "This is the funniest and disturbing thing ever" then I probably would have found it a total crack up. Like from what I heard, I thought that it was the closest thing to Hentai without actually showing anything. It was still funny, but not as funny as I imagined. That's what happens when you believe the hype.
Yea, for me it was a perfectly normal episode of Excel Saga with the addition of a little six year girl (I think she's six... I mean she looks six) with HUGE MONSTEROUS boobs. Now that I actually think about it... that episode was funny as hell! Boy I love Excel Saga... When are they coming out with a boxset?!??!

I want a box for my dvd's too orochi X
but hey, after what my friend said about ep 26 I had sent my parents to bed....
I watched it and vowed to take some form of physical violence against said friend, he let me down so much lol
it was just a normal episode of excel saga for me.... practically everything i expected from it.... i mean, if you were thrust into a situation where you had swapped bodies with a girl (or another girl in some viewers case) how many people out there wouldn't get curious and start exploring.....
it seemed almost too predictable lol

Yes, I must agree. They put all the lesbian stuff in that one ^_^

Well I personally think that Episode 16: Find Love Again has more lesbianism than episode 26 did. But yes, Puni Puni Poemi changes the line altogether. It's so wrong, but so funny at the same time.
whats the storyline of episode 26?

It just boils down to a series of random encounters that lead to sex games.

ahem.
excel and hyatt get re-introduced to Cosette Sarah (who was supposed to be a one-time character), they end up switching bodies, excel (in hyatt's body) dies and comes back, hyatt (in excel's body) runs into watanabe. they go to a love hotel. (hilarity ensues) shioji takes cosette to the love hotel, excel follows. nabeshin shows up... the rest is kind of a blur.

That 'D' cup scene was nasty... >_>
When I was watching through the DVD, I thought episode 25 was episode 26. Which made me feel it was a total let down.
Episode 26 would of been better if I hadn't seen Puni Puni Poemi first.

As far as I'm concerned, episode 26 was a ramp-up to Puni Puni Poemi. Which did live up to the hype.

I know what you mean because I saw triple P first, too. But still, episode 26 had stuff that even triple P never had.
