Here's the first 2 DVD volume covers for FMP which I got from the Madman FMP thread I started ages ago

Personally I think the first cover is awful, the second one a little better and the reverse cover is great. Who apart from TDM would prefer the normal cover over the reverse for DVD 1?!

:lol:!!!! Mecha or hot babe? ADV have their demographic down.
I like the 2nd and reverse covers better too.
So is the reverse cover the exact relpica of the R2 covers? I like this reverse cover idea. Choice is good.

I read that the R2 Covers were character art so i guess the reverse covers are either the r2 covers or similar. Looking at the 2nd dvd cover it's actually rather good but I still think the first one is terrible.

PersonallyI think ADV should combine the mecha and hot babe covers into one, why aim at one target group (since the mecha covers are what you will see on the shelf) when you can aim at two?

You guys seen the box for FMP I'll put that up later, I like it better than the RahXephon Box but not the Noir one.

The reverse is better, IMO. Reading the back, you can guess that the episode summaries are direct translations of the R2 version.

The box is really nice. It's made of sturdy cardboard instead of the usual crappy paper. There's an overall metallic shine to it as well.

As for the t-shirt inside... it's bad. Kaname and Sousuke are orange.

As for the cover on mission 2, which mecha is that? I don't recall seeing anything like that.

Actually I like the mech covers, they look real nice.

Isnt the mecha on DVD 2 the one Sagara pilots? I forget its name it starts with an "A", the lamba driver one (Sp?)

I actually like that cover for Volume 2 but I'll wait to I see the reverse but I still think the first one looks way to dark and awful.

As for the second cover Orochi is right, I think the mecha was Albatrest or something... I'm way off but it does start with A.

Hmmm... I actually like the first cover. It's dark, dramatic, and simple. The reverse side is too girly for my tastes, although I suppose it'd catch the eye of a browser easier than the darker mecha side.

DVD 2... there's not enough contrast between the mecha and the title, so the words end up blurring into the title a little. Makes it difficult to read quickly.
