Poor Kyo. His "real self" is pretty bizarre looking, and it must have been traumatizing to grow up knowing what his real form is, and seeing how other people (including his own parents) react to it.
Anyway, my question is about how he changes into that form. The bracelet keeps the transformation back, that's pretty clear... but at the beginning of the last episode he changes back to human Kyo without the bracelet. Does his true form only come out when it's raining? That would explain why he always feels bad during rainy weather, and it would explain why he changed back (since it stopped raining).
I think that's a little strange... but then so is the concept of people changing into animals when you hug them... So I guess in Furuba-land nothing is impossible... :D
