Which Tenchi Series is the Best?

Ok you guys probably have heard this a billion times but.....Oh well :)

Tenchi Muyo!
Tenchi Universe!
Tenchi in Tokyo!

Well personally I liked Tenchi Muyo! the best. For a couple of reasons.

1.They were drawn better!
I know that TenchiMuyo! was the best funded out of all the tenchi series. So more money = better materials.
2. Character Development
The TenchiMuyo and Universe storys differ greatly. Washu and Sasami as goddesses and Ryoko a experiment by washu another great one.

Tenchi Muyo is the best with Universe in second and Tenchi in Tokyo sucks. And there is 13 episodes of Tenchi Muyo

i agree that tenchi muyo! was the best, Tenchi in tokyo was ok, tenchi universe i have not seen as of yet

Tenchi Muyo! was definitely the best.

Tenchi Universe was good.

The only thing I liked about Tenchi In Tokyo was Washu. She acted cool towards the end.

I've seen all of Tenchi Muyo!, about 2/3 of Tenchi Universe, and little of Tenchi in Tokyo. My favorite is Tenchi Muyo! because it leaves you wanting so much more, the art was great, the characters were great, and everything felt like it flowed. My only complaint was Kagato shoulda gotten more time. Kagato rocks!

I like Muyo the best, which is to be expected its of OAV quality, Universe I like too, the story lines good from what i've seen and I don't like Tenchi in Tokyo. I wish DVD Express would hurry up and get my copy in :/

I think you've already pointed out the reason why I like Tenchi Universe best. Because, unlike Tenchi Muyo, it actually had an ending. I also liked the characters they added when they made Tenchi Universe. But, Tenchi Muyo was still good. :B:

Muyo definatly Number 1 but would have liked to see the end.
Universe - slim edge over Tokyo.
However I am in the minority in saying that IMHO Tokyo Does not suck. Sure there was some real silly filler stuff, but once they got going after say ep. 8 it ranks right up there. Not quite as good as universe but better than the due it is given.
